Bias questions???

Post by ButchieT » Mon Jul 31, 2006 8:09 pm

Can the MTS amps be biased w/o modules? Can anyone tell me the proper way to go about biasing the power tubes? IE...do you let it totally warm up...do you do it w/all settings on 0 w/ or w/o modules?
Which is the preferred way to set the power tube bias?
Thanks in advance? I have been doing my RM50B w/ the modules in and all controls set to the 0 or off position and after the amp has been on for 10 minutes or so? Again, if there is a preferred way, I would like to do it the way it is supposed to be done.

Thanks,
Butch Taylor

Your best bet is to read the manual as it explains the process is simple terms and is easy to understand.

I think you only need to turn the master volume to 0.
