Getting really rad sounds with a Super V run 'clean-ish' and bright with my new MXR M-86 Classic Distortion box. Gain at about 3 and volume full on - bright and clear...and 'vox-y'...kick the M-86 and WOOOOOOOOOSH!
Don't know why I'm always surprised with how great the Super V sounds. I can't wait to record some new tunes - going into the studio this March - seems like the Super V will be perfect for layering parts along with my Brahma.
By the way - if you can find one - try to pick up the MXR Classic Distortion - got mine at GC for $25 and it blows away most dirt boxes that I've used. Still love my BD-2 though!
