Just bought a set of Randall RPA-4 vintage speakers on a neigbourhoodfair.
I am wondering, what are they meant for. Is it a Guitar combo? or can it be used a general PA system (original thought when buying). Tried to connect them to my hifi amp. Seems they have mids, but no high/low. They have 4 equal approx 14 inch speakers in each of the two speakers, placed on top of each other. Sound is very powerful, but not very bright. Am running through a jack entrance at the back now. They have been modified to receive XLR, but not sure how I can steer that from my normal hifiamp. Can this be modified or is this the purpose, eg as guitar combo? Thanks.
