Ok...the reason I bought this amp was for distortion. I was expecting a demon crawl out of the speaker and slice my head off. Its got some brutal gain but not exactly what I expected. I was wondering if changing preamp tubes my increase the evilness of this amp. What are you guys running in your T2?
 
i think its got tons of gain out of the box but i did replace the EH tubes first with a set of rubys and it sounded much better and then with a set of tung sols and wham even better tone and imo touch more gain.i did chane the EH 12at as well,but i left the ruby tube in there.
