I have a couple BKP's in route and will do the installation my self. I have done a lot of Brazing with silver solder and quite a bit plumbing type soldering with Mapp Gas. I have done little to no work with the Iron.

Can anybody suggest a good soldering rig and website I can get it and supplies from. I certainly don't want and entry level rig but don't need a pro rig either...something above average and most of all an excellent perform that is reliable. Thanks!

EDIT:
Whats the most appropriate solder for PUP's and electronics?

I ended up with this one:

Good choice!
Remember to use 60/40 ROSEN core (NOT Acid core) solder.
If you want to clean up the flux residue, use alcohol.
The trick is to use enough heat but not so much that you burn up the board
or traces.
Practice on a defective or broken PC board from a discarded electronic device. When you can remove and re-solder a component on the board
without damaging or lifting the conductive trace, you're getting there.
Try and get some desoldering braid and a solder sucker.
Good Luck!
