Tube arrangment & ?

I know what the tubes are type wise. What is the placement of them? like left to right(thinking power working one is in back?), going to get all new JJ's, But i have a new groove GT gold I thought about trying on my green distortion channel. wonding what people thought about groove gold series tone wise? Thanks

JJ's are pretty average in my opinion. Too dark and muddy sounding. Groove tubes are nice and smooth but not very high gain. Tung-sols are best for this amp series. Clear, high gain and more three dimensional.

And yes your right 3 12ax7's in the front and the one 12at7 in the power section at the back. Your tone is really coming from those front three so they are the ones you want to change.
