:D Well, you can place effects that should go in front of the pre amp in the front or back input. Effects that should go after the preamp can go from the outputs between the M4 and your power amp.

Really depends, you can use the fx loop on the master SYN2 or between the output of the master and your power amp. If you're going for w/d/w, use the first output to the dry power amp and second output to your fx ( set 100% wet) then to your stereo power amp. No need to use the fx loop in this case

Well you can't do W/D/W with a single Syn5050, just stereo or mono. For multiple SYN2s, there are instructions in the manual.

The components you list don't require 4CM. Is there a processor that you're trying to use that allows a preamp to be inserted?

I agree the Synergy mods are quiet and that's an important quality for me. I'm really diggin the Bman / MetroPlex combination at the moment. They seem to compliment each other nicely and don't sound wonky switching between clean and scream. (so your sound man won't throw his hands up every time...

You can can a nice clean tone with the DS for sure but the Bman is amazing, big, round clean on A and my favorite edge of breakup on B. Not the scooped mids of a Fender at all.

Repairs are taking a while too. I sent my SYN2 in about two months ago and no word on how much longer it will be. Last I asked they said it would be repaired in the order it was received. I'm a bit sad about this...
