Just got the PLexi yesterday, relaly liking it. Works as a clean for what I want and need. Plus always nice to have three sep. distortion channels.

I like both. The XTC sounds exactly like a Carvin Legacy amp which is good for VIA type music as well as basically any style. SL+ works well.

Plexi - although brown is a plexi with edge. Style? Gear?

So far I tried SL+, XTC, Recto and Modern modules and all of them sound very similar to me. I mean there are degrees of seperation such as amount of gain, thickness, higher/lowerend, but generally I can dial in a similar tone. These are all stock by the way. Is there any modules out there...

Speaking of pickups.... Right now I have EMG 81/60s in my ESP LTD EC1000, thinking about switching the 60 to an 85 eventually, but my main question is this; Would Dimarzio Breed (Neck) Steve's Special (middle) and Evolution (bridge) would be a good combination for an Epi Les Paul Black beauty...
