my problem is they won't even plug in... the little prong in the Footswitch is too big for the standard PSA-120 type plugs-- but other than that they look like they should fit exactly.
I went to guitar center, and the PSA-120 didn't work...
it seems that all that adapters that look like it will fit don't have a big enough hole for the prong.
what power supplies have you personally confirmed work with the pedal?
I'm looking to sell my Engl Powerball V2.
Preferable for local pickup in Southern California (i'll meet you half way if you live in So-cal to avoid shipping costs). PM for price and additional info.
Ive heard about the Eventide Timefactor.... but has anyone tried the TC Electronic ND-1 Nova Delay?
What are people's Impressions on the Eventide Timefactor Vs the TC Electronic Nova Delay? Why would one choose the Eventide over the TC? And Vice versa...
I already have a DD-20, would it be...
EQ first...It will have a much better effect on your tone (if you use it right)
With the right EQ, you could turn a Fender (with a distortion pedal) into a metal monster. A good EQ will make decent amps sound amazing, and Great Amps sound Insane.
The ISP decimator is hands down the best Pedal Noise gate you can buy. The only things that beats it are (expensive) rackmount noise gates. The Decimator is good for any style, but especially metal because of how well it works.
The MXR 10-band is only as good as you can dial in-- with that...
TS9 upfront (of course)
In loop-- Noise Gate Goes first... EQ should go after (but BEFORE time based effects like Delay, if you have any)
I highly recommend the ISP decimator and MXR 10 band.
