I'm guessing the Fenders are the only remaining Egnater design as they still feature the D/S switching from his last run of modules: DUAL<>SINGLE SLIDE SWITCH: The T/DLX module includes a switch used to allow the new Synergy modules to be used in older single channel Egnater and Randall modular amps...

Tube Screamer, Rat, Big Muff, Boss OD/DS pedals into Clean, Twinface, and Twox mods sound pretty different compared to those pedals feeding the actual amps. Without the pedals, I find them pretty dead-on so I assumed it had something to do with the shared input circuitry in the amp itself when runni...

Does the SYN2 take pedals any better than the M4/MOD50?

Most likely you just need to shim the PCB under the last module slot in the RM100 and it will then be 'short module' compatible. The 'defect' is your Recto PCB being a wee bit shorter than the majority of mods. The tolerances on assembling the heads were pretty loose, so you've got two slots with en...

Are all these suggestions mods that are liked or ones that are particularly defined and have great note separation in chord work...meaning each note can be heard clearly on a crunch chord? The C-Watt is fairly defined, as an example. A Marshall blends everything together in a warm yet singular soun...

Yeah, my mid gain module is the JF XTC. I use the red channel with the structure in the low/old setting. Not so much a fan of the blue channel's voicing, even though it's usually the mid gain sound.
Love it for picking through slightly dirty chords, then step on a boost to crunch it up.

Did an overdub session on Sunday where the player just brought his guitar and used the studio MTS rig. Rolled through about 7 different modules and 4 different pedal flavors across the tracks. The stock clean works if you want to hear exactly what the pedal puts out, we dug the Twox the most for com...

1st choice is a pair of Randall 4x12s, both with Vintage 30s and G12T-75s in an x-pattern. If using just a 1x12 combo, I use a WGS ET-65 but prefer it combined with a WGS Veteran 30 in a second extension 1x12. Find the WGS versions work better in singles and pairs but the Celestions cancel perfectly...

11 right now in my sig, which is the most I've owned. Started out buying an RM50 with stock Clean and modified Ultra XL mods, then traded the head for three more mods after getting an RM4: a stock SL+, a Mr Scary and a custom JF Mark X. The Ultra XL was traded for a JF Top Boost, which I then sent b...

With 3 slots I'd go Salvation TwinFace, Salvation MarkUs, and Sacred Groove SL+. For one pedal, I'd go with the Boss ME-5 as a MIDI controller for the amp plus analog presets for the CS Compression/Sustainer, OD OverDrive/DS Distortion, 3-band EQ, CE Chorus/BF Flanger and RV Digital Reverb/Delay. G...
