Gent's it's been a while since i've visited the forum, but i'm now going to be offloading my rig, and looking for a buyer... i'd prefer not to seperate the rig and would prefer a local ( southern ontario ) buyer - heres crossing my fingers here's what i got RM4 - loaded with GRAIL / SUPER V...

they are 2 different versions of the same tone ... and both work well depending on what you want to do with them ... SV has more clarity and less gain on tap while the TB has a suprising amount of gain on tap and doesn't clean up as well as SV

you vwill buy ti and you VWILL like it !!!!

i have both the super V and the top boost and although they are based of the same "amp" they react somewhat differently... the super V cleans up way more than the the Boost and the boost has gobs more gain on tap but does sound a bit thinner than the V ... for what it's worth for any fan of...

super V = very underated maodule - it should be taken more seriously imo

don't forget to cut some fingers off and apply some wood tips LOL ..jk

buy a GRAIL.... play through V30's .....all issues solved !!!!

i disagree !!! i believe the grail will still hold its wait against that modded module ... the grail is not supposed to be an exact recto copy !! it has it's own flavour and universe it hangs out in !!! and it's a great module ... no modding is required !!!

i used to have both !! now i have only the GRAIL ..and i eat recto tones on my cornflakes for breakfast!!!

the only module out there that isn't already done is the mega channel from the Diezel Herbert !!! that channel kills ... i know some say the mega channels are the same in all diezels , but they are not ... the herbie sags a bit more and has some nice saturation happening !!! that the other...

Grail slays most modules, even some of the "modded" modules can't hold a candle up to the Grail !! i've got it dialed in so good right now my cab is runnin' to the boys room to run a batch off !!

me too!!!! not sure !! i always just got a smile from the guy who modded it !!! and i never looked into it !! all he said was that the RM4 by nature is a tubby sounding unit ... mine however is not !!! i let my ears do the judging and i have not been on the market for a new amp for almost...

my actuall RM4 has been modded !!

i like to hear a herbert channel 3 mod done ... the herbie has the best "mega" channel diezel has put out imo .. it has a bit more "sag" and is not quite as tight ..but super thick !!!!

BUMP!! so how do you like it?? i haven't seen a great deal of stateside reviews of the salvation mods ? got anythiung for us?? thx
