Oh great, I thought it was just me. I have two SYN-2s just in from Musicians Friend and neither one will respond to midi. Same exact thing- I tried my Helix first, then an old Art X-15 I have laying around, and nothing, not even the Bypass LED blinks. I hope I'm just missing something too. Matt

Well I am in a bit of midi hell, I can't seem to make anything listen to the GC Pro and respond to program changes. And the midi board HAS a "plug in" style fuse, which I am going to replace. But first I need to prove to myself that I know how to configure boxes to talk to each other. MIDI...

UPDATE: heard from ryan @us musiccorp today, who stated that there was a fuse on the midi board itself. Mine, of course, does not appear to have one. I could be missing it though. Anyway, the response was fast - next weekday. I sent him a picture, hopefully something will come out of it. Matt

Joshua, Thanks for the advice, the RM4 will not respond to any midi message on any channel (I tried them all, changing the dip switches and programming the GC Pro) even when the RM4 is directly connected to the foot switch. Now, and suddenly, the TC GM2 is not responding to the foot switch...

Since I do not know the history of my RM4, it is certainly possible/likely that the midi inputs were "misused" at some point. I have sent an email to Randall support; we will see what they say. Matt
