I'm looking at getting a new preamp, so far I'm liking the Mako and the Soldano SP77 and X88R and possibly a Marshall JMP1. I saw a Fryette GP3 but can't find any good sound demo's on this. Anyone own one or played through one before? I know VHT makes good stuff so I can't imagine this sounding...

Hello all, Has anyone here ever owned a Mako Mak4 preamp or played through one? I've done some research on this and some of the other Mako amps and i've yet to find a bad review. Bill
