I much prefer running things like the musket and rat into my Randall Clean. It seems to work better for pedals for me than my other clean (Blackface).

Yeah, I was using it with JBE, and it's interesting that the output drops but the noise stays the same. I've had a big fiddle with everything today, trying some lower gain and moving my gate into different positions and I think I have it tamed to a point where it's not bothering me any more...

I've run direct into the ReCabinet VST before, and it's fine. Works fine with the free cab emu VSTs as well like LePou.

And.... all I need to do is turn down the volumes on each module and turn up the master and all is good. Not ideal, but certainly workable.

As you mentioned, I'd definitely rule out the Uberschall, I own one of those and it does it's thing, but that's about it. Incredibly well built amp though. The Ecstasy won't hit that level of gain, but it will cover a lot of other ground.
