But there is a twisted irony to having so many mods- at one point I had over 2 dozen, all modded out. With that many options and endlesss happiness, I winded up having "module war" all the time at the expense of songwriting and recording. Too many mod combinations, switches, heads, tubes, guitars, strings, etc. Sort of like when I was told to choose a health care plan and they gave me 10 options- you wind up stuck in indecision.

Module war is fun but obsessively consuming.

Amen to the endless tone seeking! It's all consuming! I had to do the same thing (check my handle) and stop... well cut back on the gathering and endless tone seeking and start playing. Life is better, little cartoon birds following me wherever I go!!
