I've heard good things about the Ebtech line level shifter. It converts pedal signals to line level so you can use them in the effects loop. I don't have any experience with this myself, but it seems to be the best solution to the line level problem.

Is there any tonal difference between Randall and Egnater modules? I know the Egnaters are dual channel, but has anyone A/B'd a Randall Recto and an Egnater Erect, or a Randall SL and an Egnater SL?
