So I took the plunge and ordered an Axe FX Ultra, and now need to sell a new things to pay the credit card bill.
I had this Cobra re-valved with Svetlana Winged C's and Tung Sol/JJ gold 12AX7's, and had it biased to 35 MA. I also had it modded with a switch in the back to toggle between the serial and parallel effects loop. Cost me over ?500 to get this done.
I'll throw in a few sets of EH and JJ EL34's and 12AX7's worth over ?300, as I wont be needing any valves now.
To PX, I'm looking for a pair of Bare Knuckle humbuckers, preferably Warpigs or Nailbombs. Also looking for a good MIDI controller for the Axe. I'm based in London, UK.
