I'm shocked. There is a new Lynchbox on stage. First time out of about 10 times seeing George and he will be using his amp. I'll get some pics up and maybe some videos. Show starts in about 10 min. George has about 3 amps with him on tour and it's hard to tell which he is playing.

I heard the LB103 in soundcheck but he used some god awful pedal most of the time during the gig i saw....and not enough gain!

He always has 3 amps going. He had the lynchbox on stage atleast this time. He usually never even brings one. Atleast he is showing it this time. I got a ton of video I will post to YouTube.

So is this the modular Lynchbox or the newer model?

The new one. He never played the module one ever unless it was for a clinic. He was using his usual 3 amp setup but only had the Lynchbox on stage. The others were off in a rack. Randall might have finally got on him for never using his signature amps.

I have seen that Lynch Box there every time. But it's always been a dummy. He had a Sullivan, a Friedman Marsha and a Fender Tweed in February. My buddy told me this:

"and according to tony leone who jammed w/ G this past week, the lynchbox is for show and he plays thru a combo of his sullivan, a friedman plexi clone (marsha, naked), and a plexi."

That's just what I saw and heard. G changes so often he could very well be using the LB (?)

I actually was thinking the lynchbox was for his guitar tech kid that plays rhythm guitar for 6 seconds on a couple songs. I know you are right about the amps because he actually switched up to a 2 gcx's and a ground control instead of the messy pedalboard and the amp switcher. I could read the ground control saying Sullivan and Marshall when he switched them. So the lynchbox I'm sure was what his tech was playing through. George was nice this time and put up a plexiglass wall in front of his 3 cabs so I didn't lose 98% of my hearing like last time.

I saw Lynch a year or so ago with Souls of We and he had his cabs facing backwards to lower the kill zone. Looks like he is using the plexiglass shields to do this now. He likes to push the amps, like we all do, for tone. He had some Friedmans, a Sullivan, and something else that I can't remember on stage.

I saw Lynch Mob open for MSG a few months later and he had a Lynch Box, Herbert, Sullivan, Friedman, and something else. All were turned on but with the number of 4X12's up there it was hard to see what was being used.

Nice video man..looks like you had a good a view as I did when I saw 'em earlier in the year with Oni....his tone here seems clearer than when I saw it though.

Impossible to tell which amp is on though eh?

I'm pretty sure he was running a sulivan, a Marsha, and a plexi. I could read them on his ground control screen. He turns on the Marsha everytime he does a lead. So during leads he is running all three amps at once. He had the same setup last time I saw him except he had a PWE Event Horizon amp instead of the plexi.

The last time I say him here I was against the stage about 2 feet from him and he didn't turn his cabs around like the time before when I saw him. It was about 2,000,000 decibels and I thought I lost hearing. I was happy to see the plexi glass this time.
