Has anyone compared Salvation's 'Pit Viper' to a real Cobra?

How does the pit viper stack up? The clips sound cool, but I haven't heard any reviews from anyone who has had a chance to play both.

If you want a cobra sound get a Rob-modded Ultra XL; one of the best metal mods ever, and the mod is only about $100

I have owned a Framus Cobra in the past.
Great metal tone. Never heard the Pit Viper module.
But Jaded Faiths Modded Ultra XL will get you over the top.
SUPER HEAVY and clear not muddy.
I said it before.......
"IF SATAN PLAYED MTS AMPS....THIS IS THE MODULE HE WOULD USE!"
I call mine ........THE COBRA KILLER! 8)

So you've got a ferret module?

I'm sure I speak for lots of the local players in my area when I say....

"What's a Framus Cobra?"

Around here, Peavey had a monopoly for years.
It wasn't until 1988 the we got a Fender dealer.
Cobra is a malt liquor (to these boys)

He needs to tune UP at least a step and stop playing the deathcore "horror chords", as my friend calls them (uber low tuned tritones).

This is a better example. This whole album was tracked with them, but Peter is using Mako now. But it's all a Framus Cobra with a Maxon OD and an ISP Decimator.

I have a Framus Cobra and I really liked it in the store, but just couldn't get a good sound out at home. Seemed to always need to be boosted with a tube screamer to get closer to what I like. It doesn't seem to have a nice liquid like feel for soloing. I don't know. Never used it in a band.
