Rather than replacing the 470 ohm resistor with a 150 ohm resistor, just piggyback a 220 ohm resistor on the 470, which results in 150 ohms!

I did this mod today to my silver faceplate Plexi and Brown modules, with good results.

Yeah, it's not my prettiest work, but it got the job done! :D
Pretty clever. What was the end result? Tighter low end?

A little fuller sound -- less buzz in the distortion.
 
theres so much that can be done with these modules
with just a few changes

I recently built myself one with 4 DPDT toggles that I call MOM
