low tuning

I play in drop tune, D dropped to C ....

For a couple of years I played on GHS 10-52 in D tune not dropped, than I changed to Ernie Ball 12-56 (green pack) cause of dropped to C but not satisfied completely. 3. string is to thick, not for soloing at all.

Now I got new 12-52 sets from GHS and I think if would be best choice.

What do you think of 12-52 set for C G C F A D?
Would it be enough thick?

busted out my ibanez 7 string i'm in drop A and i love it, my bass player is gonna have to get a 5 string :twisted:
