I'm also torn for my birthday -- do I want an Epi Casino (for the P90s) and yes it's and archtop, and no I'm not getting old or going country? Or do I want the Mark and the XTC?

I agree with everyone here that this Mark module sounds excellent. Another quality module from Mr Turley.

Ya talkin' to me? Didn't sell one of my RM100s... I have two of those and a white tolexed Lynch Box with KH power mod (factory), and an RM50, 2 RM20s and the RM4 and RT 2/50 setup. Thanks everyone for the kind words.

What power amp are you using there? love it.

BTW, IMHO the power tranny is most of the difference in sound between the marks. the 105 was much brighter than the mkiv's tranny and our randalls are more dark/lose like the mark IV than the IIC+

I agree there are some effect in there, but the tone of the module still shines through.
I gotta tell ya, that tone sounds sweeter than any Mk III I've ever played through.
I'd even say it's better than the Mk IV that a friend has.
Very focused sounding mid, singing sustain. Kinda like a modded Marshall almost.
But I'm not hearing the true tone, I'm sure. (cheap computer speakers)

Only effect on there is a little bit of reverb and a cab emulation - spent all of about 1 minute dialling that in. I started using the axe fx for that part because I could take the actual mesa preamp I was working with and run it the same way - was a lot easier for matching tones. If you look at other clips I did with the same setup and different modules, they sound different because the basic tone is in the module, not the reverb. I did no post EQ, exciters, multitracking, nada - it's right off the axe fx output. Hell, I'm not even using a good soundcard, it's going into the sound on my motherboard!

Has to easily be my most anticipated module....since I'm one of the few fans of the stock Ultra Lead and this one basically makes it Super Duper Ultra Lead + more....can't wait.

Cab emulator and a little reverb from a Fractal AxeFX I believe... no doubling, no eq, no compression, just a cab emulator (v30s) and 'verb so it wasn't bone dry sounding. Guitar was probably a Charvel SoCal with stock DiMarzios or an Eric Johnson strat with a hot rails in the bridge.
