Mod for Gus G's lead tone?

Hey guys. I'm just wondering what mod would get a simalar Lead tone to Gus G's from firewind? Could a modded xtc get close or not? Heres some clips of songs for reference:

The XTC modded maybe, but I would go with the gainier (Bushism) un modded mods like the Ultra XL or Modern module or even the Recto first before shelling out the cash for a modded mod. The XTC does not get that heavy IMHO but it cleans up when the gain is turned down which I like. But experiment alot; the guys on hear are really cool and swap mods like they're shorts. :lol: Heares a link two some clips.
