resistor upgrade

I would like to upgrade my resistors in ultra, ultra xl, etc. I will be putting the same values in, except maybe higher watt, but that's not the question. My question is as follows... what type of resistors (brand etc.) are already in the MTS modules and what type would be an upgrade? What is the best brand and where can I get them online? Thank you.

Use metal film in the Ultra they clear the sound up. Well they did for me. I changed the R1 R2 R3 resistors to 150k metal film in the Ultra and it sounds a lot better. Carbon film are used in the MTS stuff a lot and carbon compostion are also a possibilty as these are generally used in vintage amps and give a warmer sound. But i think they maybe a bit noisier.
