Im looking for a way to retrofit reverb into my RM20bp and need some feedback on my crazy ideas before I spend any money.

So far the my solution is to hook up a reverb pedal to the FX loop with a ebtech line shifter and use the DC from the fan to power it. Will this work?

I think Digitech Hardwire is able to do it without the linelevel ebtech. Cool tones, utilizes a Lexicon chip

I have no good experiences with the ebtech. IMO passive units suck tone. I would recommend an Egnater or GLAB loop level matcher instead. It's not significantly more.

Otherwise, if the Hardwire works, then just go for that one.

The hardwire is your best bet. It can handle the extra load put on the input. Plus it sounds almost as good as my carbon copy.
