I wanted to know if anybody here had experience with swapping out the Celestion g12T-75 from their open back combo.
I'm satisfied with my tone, but there's always a chance that it could be better. I play mainly metal / melodic death metal with a Les Paul. I have been, however, exploring different genres lately. I find myself running the bass way down - even all the way off for my Blackface. Anyways, does anybody here have any speaker suggestions for an openback cab, or should I just save up for a while and invest in a 2x12? (I've been looking at the MTS 2x12.. would be nice to get one used) Is it even worth messing with if I don't even know if I want a speaker change?
