I'd never heard of these tubes; my RT2/50 came loaded with a pair of these on one side, Ruby 6L6's on the other. Never cared for Ruby's 6L6's much (ran 'em in my old 5150 once, sorta blah), but these BHT's are amazing. Much more lower mids than other 34's I've used; very smooth and tonally rich. I replaced the 6L6's with JJ KT77's, A/B'd with the BHT's and they are very complimentary; give each of the modules different voices.

Did some research and others post similar experiences with these tubes.

Anybody used these?

I think it's an upgraded version of the EL34BSTR...which has always been a well recommended Ruby tube.

Looks like they're a re-branded Shuguang tube. A/B'd BHT w/JJ 34L's today; the BHT sorta sits between 34L and JJ 6L6. Low end is round but tight.
The ability to A/B tubes in the RT2/50 is alone worth luggin' around it's heavy ***.
