Running the RM100 @ 50 watts - Which Ohm Setting?

I want to throw this out there just to validate what I've read. If I run the RM100 at half power and my cab is 16 Ohms, I should set the switch to 8 Ohms?

4 tubes, 8 ohm cab = switch at 8 ohms
2 tubes, 8 ohm cab = switch at 4 ohms
2 tubes, 16 ohm cab = switch at 8 ohms

I'm curious as to how this works too so I don't blow something up. Is there also a list of the combinations with 4 tubes and 2 tubes if using 2 - 4x12 cabinets?

If you wanna reduce the power anyway, just set the switch to 4 ohm. You can`t go wrong with it. :wink:
