Thinking of getting some Yellow Jackets

I have an RM100 and a Randall 4X12 straight cab with vintage 30s.

I was thinking of getting a set of Yellow Jacket Triodes and just running 2 of those. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Would I still need an attenuator (like a hot plate) to get bedroom level volumes?

That handful of watts will still be loud, however you will notice it sounds sweeter - part Triode mode 'softness' and partly due to increased compression from lower power.

9 o'clock is around what I'd call bedroom levels on my RM50 with YJ Duet Triode.

You could also use JJ 6V6's
