Does anybody have any clips of the HG Jose or UG Jose? I've been on a bit of a Marshall kick lately.

I sent them an e-mail about sound clips a couple days ago and they don't really have any. There is one clip on youtube that they recommended, I lost the link.
But anywhere I found this vid:

It's a JCM800 but I'm guessing it sounds similar.
The UG-Jose has more gain than the HG-Jose... and then the sear mod is supposed to be more gain than the UG-Jose. I'm getting the sear mod done as soon as I get some bills paid off.

Here's a quick UG Jose clip if anyone is interested. I just used a di file I had around and reamped with the Jose, direct into LAConvolver. No eq or other post processing. Pretty much just set the levels and let 'er rip.

did you click the link above the nm player? seems to work fine in qt, works in my itunes as well.

but yeah, the file might be a little wonky...it came out as an SD2 file, I converted it to ACC by mistake in iTunes and then did the ghetto convert back to an mp3 on my desktop. Then upped it...

For Marshall heads I have designed a switch to toggle between the HG and UG Modes. The modules are different as the 1st gain stages lives on the RM100, RM4, etc so I would need to look more closely at the module layout and see if it's able to be done in the same manner.

I just got back a sear modded treadplate and sl+ from Trace. I only played on them for a half hour at low volume before work this morning. The sear modded SL+ just might be my new favorite! After work I will crank them up a bit to see what they really have. Sustains for ever though. Awesome job Trace! You maybe seeing my 1086 module soon! I only had the gain up to about 10 oclock on the modded sl+ and it sounded really nice. I have an Axiom output tranny and choke for my RM 50 coming soon too.

Also don't forget that there are 2 internal Gain pots on the pc board that you can have fun with! (lol) You can dial in each of them for more or less gain, tighten the modules feel, etc. I fine tune them into what I feel sounds and feels best for each player"s needs but I fully realize tone is subjective so you may find a cooler tone! Lots of options so please feel free to explore
