Nope doesn't sound like it. In my amp it is a brown round cylinder that sticks straight up off the board. Looks kind of like an elctrolytic cap. It is right next to the connector that connects the midi board to the amp. Marked F1F. I am going to just call Randall on Monday and order one from them.
Where would you get one of these fuses? Is Randall the only place to get one, or do they have them at Radio Shack? The reason I ask is that I blew mine out by hooking up the footswitch to the amp when it was powered up.
Egnater is coming out with some budget minded tube amps that are made is asia. According to what I have read they are an exclusive line that is being made for Guitar Center. From what I have read they will be priced very reasonable and sound great. There is even a video of a guy playing through...
I have an MTS Clean module that has had the mod done to it for trade. I would trade it for either the Blackface Module or the Top Boost Module. PM me if interested.
I saw him at the clinic in Charlotte and he was great. The only complaint I have about the clinic is that he was way to loud. I mean wayyyyyyyy to loud. My ears were almost bleeding. I had to walk to the side of the stage to try and lessen the pain.
Randall does seem to be quite a mess all of the time lately. Someone over there needs to get Randall's **** together.
I nominate R/D Man to take control of Randall Amplification.
I haven't really looked inside my RM100 that much, but I am wondering if it something as simple as an internal fuse. So if you are comfortable doing so you may want to check and see.
