I went to check the bias on my RT2/50 today and encountered a new problem. When I check test point #1 in Channel 2 I get no more than 11mV. Test point #2 on Channel 2 checks out fine (around 38mV or something) as does both the test points on Channel 1.
The troublesome test point also doesn't 'grip' the meter probe anymore, where as all the other test points do. I'm wondering whether I lost contact.
I put some different tubes in and got the same result.
The channel does make sound, though I can't be sure if it's affecting the tone or not. Doesn't seem to be but I guess I can't be sure.
I bought this thing new and have treated it gingerly in a rack in my studio. Never left the studio.
Ideas? Just contact Randall?
