Are there any good alternatives to the Randall module case that you can't get anymore for carrying modules around? Looking for something that can hold 1/2 modules.

These are a little expensive, but they would keep your modules REALLY safe and you can pull out the foam to fit the modules:

I think you can find them on E-bay for quite a bit less.

Thanks. I think I may look at one of their bigger units. Three might work for a bit but not for long. Or I would have to get a few of these. There is place that stocks a few of their models. Not sure which ones. I'll have to go take a look.

I am into recycling..
go to a good thrift shop buy a somsonite and customize the inside. The best part: noone knows your precious gear is inside!
and yeah..its a LOT CHEAPER!

the orange dual terror bag works perfect. i also have a little latch case that had a hookah in it. added some foam, and voila, 2 module hardshell case. between those two and the two in the amp, its perfect

I found another case that works well. I was going to go the Pelican case route as I knew that Fry's Electronics here in Dallas carries them. I went there last night and they didn't have any that modules would fit in.

They did have this case however.

Basically a Pelican case. Works well. Not sure how many modules you can get in it but at least 8, maybe 10.

I got a Homer toolbox from Home Depot ($6.99?) and $20 worth of foam from a local store. Glued the layers together with 3M spray adhesive, cut out slots with an electric knife (garage sale, $2) so the mods slide in. Cut the block in sections so it can hold from 1 to 5 modules, pedals, cables etc. I put a layer of foam over the knobs so they can't move around. You could probably get 6 in there if you needed to.

I use this and it will hold 2 modules - Get yourself some foam at the fabric store cut it to your needs and it works just fine
