    FS: Ultra Module - Europe

Hi all, I am selling my Ultra Module as I no longer own an MTS amp. It is fully stock, never gigged, and comes in its original box. Selling for 90 euros. I live in Barcelona (Spain), I am willing to ship to other countries in Europe (20 euros shipping cost). Cheers, Edoardo.

FS: Randall RM22, 4 Modules, Weber Mini Mass - Europe

For sale is my little Randall RM22. Most of you will be already familiar with this amp. This is the 2 channel version of the RM20. Can get loud enough to play with a band but also used at home (especially with the minimass I have for sale). The amp is in pristine conditions, never been gigged...

Its been a long journey with MTS...

I am surprised with just how heated this conversation has gotten!! Especially since everybody is stating: "each to their own". I am a MTS user and a valve amp user in general (Diezel, Marshall and Mesa) and I dont own a Fractal, even though I would definitely like to try one out for myself...

The Dragon Module - New Clip on Page 6!

Hi, Great sounding module and clips! How were the clips recorded? Was it all DI or did you mic a cab? Can you share you signal chain of the recordings (any IRs?) thank you Ed.

    Tube recommendations for RM22

When used in the context of guitar amps, sag refers to the speed at which the amp reacts to your playing. An amp that has a lot of sag will react to your playing slower and is great for playing blues. Less sag gives you a stiffer amp that reacts quickly to your attack, great for metal. Usually...

Boost on RM22 sounds too dark and compressed

I will investigate more and report back! I had a quick look the other day, but gave up in the few minutes I had because it is actually not that easy to take the RM22 out of the chassis! Ed.

Boost on RM22 sounds too dark and compressed

Yes! Definitely! I just wanted to know if it was a common thing with the amp first and if anybody has ever tried to do anything about it (valve swap or whatever) Cheers Ed

Boost on RM22 sounds too dark and compressed

I end up having to use a pedal too, which is a shame considering we have such a nice feature built in. From having modded other amps in the past I feel the problem may be related to the boost circuit having too much bass. When you dont roll off bass early in the signal chain you end up with a...

Boost on RM22 sounds too dark and compressed

Hi All, I am the happy owner of an RM22, which I love! The only thing that kind of bugs me about it is that the boost function on both channels sounds very dark and overly compressed when engaged. I have had this amp from new and the sound has always been like this. I know that the boost is...

Question on adding effects to an RM22 rig

It very much depends on what genre of music you play. If you are looking for more sustain out of single notes when playing with gain it may be overkill. On the other hand if you want compression on your cleans for funky stuff or arpeggios it may be a good tool to have... Ed.
