I'd be interested in hearing how much actual gain it has, I thought it lacked it altogether until I saw the 10:30 setting for the gain.

My RM4 has been taken apart, but I'll try to get clips up when it gets fixed.

Yeah that clip was lacking in gain compared to other clips and clarity. If you were to engage the bright switch and actually use the presence knobs and such you would get much more clarity and such.

That clip is of an Ultra Dragon module. It's got a fair amount of gain on that clip.

Always amazes me how people hear things so differently...thought it had plenty of gain...sounded super heavy.....

I don't have a clip but I do have a Dragon and it's got MORE than enough gain...It gets HEAVY!

Thanks Matt. It really does have more than enough gain. That's why I set it lower than normal.

Now willing to mod a Dragon with a SL+ module. It'll be the same as the Dragon UltraXL if it's modded to a Dragon!

Received my Ultra Dragon today from Kyle. Wow... it's angry yet clear and articulate. I couldn't make the thing sound bad no matter how much I tried. No mud. It reminds me of a 5150 but way better. Plenty of gain! I may have laughed like a villain when I cranked it all the way up. The workmanship is top of the line too. Awesome module!

Clips were recorded on my Mesa 4x12 full of vintage 30s.

I had DI tracks that were reamped into the RM100 and I recorded everything with an SM57.

Nah I can't do clips anymore. Once the Egnater E2 comes out I'm coming back full force and hopefully with a Baron module.

Maybe someone here with a Dragon can chime in and do clips though.
