What I know is that one AT7 in V2 should not be replaced by AX7. Thats for power amp safety. For sure that hi quality tubes in tube channel will affect positively ... shame I live in country where I can not find any decent AX7s...

Like in all other tube preamps or pedals with tubes like Damage Control or H&K, sound goes dull when tubes are getting old. Answer is: you should change your tubes after certain time ... depends on hours of work.
