5150 Tone

I want that 5150 tone! what can I use? As far as RM100m which modules

Here's a previous thread about it. I'll answer the way i have in the past. Eddie used a Soldano for the basis of his Peavey amps. You can get a pretty similar sound from a Soldano modded module. As far as stock, i don't think any stock module gets a good Peavey 5150 or Soldano sound.

The Ultra XL should get quite close, but I'm not sure

I had a original 5150 block letter, and the newest 5150iii, and I think the Ultra XL is pretty close...

I think we had that a lot of times.
Yes, the Ultra XL.
But if you want to kick asses, get it modded by Rob (Jaded Faith).
He is doing a great job for payable money.
My Rob modded UXL has a 5150 frontplate now, I know why !
