i have a combo amp 60 watts 1x12 speaker at 8 ohms what should i set the impedence to? 16 or 8 , thanks

based on what you posted..your speaker is made to work at 8ohms..so set your amp to 8ohms.
in fact, be certain by looking at your speaker..on its back (somewhere..even if dimly written..it will say 8 ohms or 8 and the ohmega symbol)

other settings can kill your amp..dont experiment..tube amps hate that!

Yeah, definitely 8 for 8 - slowly fries otherwise. Fatal for the Combo.
