Couple Short Ultra XL Clips

I made two short clips of the Ultra XL a while back when I first got my Mackie Onyx Satellite recording interface and an SM58. I haven't really had time or the effort to record recently due to work, school and etc.

Anyways, check these out. I really have no idea how to record besides find a nice mic position and layer guitars so these are my first attempts.

Hmm, any idea what's odd about it? It sounds pretty good over on my end.

I really need to start recording and figuring out how to tweak and EQ.. all I know now is basically plug in, hit record, and play. I need some experience in to get technique down.

I dunno when I listened to it on my monitors it seemd kinda lo-fi, but it sounds ok on my headphones. Could do with some eqing and more seperation between guitars though.
