Hi, everyone,
I already have SL+ and Reto modules with c3 cap mod , and Mr. Scary,
Planning to buy a new sound from Salvation mods,
How about the Salvation custom 3 ? Is it worth to buy?
Is the Salvation custom 3 sound similar with my SL+, Reto or Mr. Scary?
Thank you! :D

Custom 3 is different, but I'd say still in the same flavor family as your SL+ and Mr. Scary. If you want to get a very different flavor from what you have, I'd recommend Mamba, Benzin, Kraken or Chupacabra.
Welcome to MTS.

The only modded module I own is a mamba, and choosing that one can never be a bad choice. There are alot of various tones you can get out of this beast.
I highly recomend it.

I use the C3 as my marshall module. Other than an plexi, it does the marshall thing for my ears. Its different than a Scary for sure.

C3 is my main module for lead tones. Think marshall-is but more clarity, note definition, sensitive.

I also found it becomes muddy if you turn the gain all the way up. I keep it about 6-7 and boost with an overdrive when needed...

C3 is my main module for metal rhythm ;)

Ideal crossover between 800 natural classic, Engl tigthness and Recto midgrowl.
And next plus is, that is not so often used as other amps, that means a bit extraordinarity :)
