Hey fellas!

I finally made the RM100 sound to my satisfaction! It sure took some doing! lol

But, it wouldn't be possible for all the good advice I found here on the forum.

Credit is due to;

For their knowledge and trust.

The rig is now thus;

RM100 w/2 JJ 6L6 and 2 Tung Sol EL34, GE gray plate 12ax7 in V1, JAN Philips 5751 in V3, JJ 12ax7 V2

Mr. Scary stock, and 2 old black plate 12ax7
Voodoo Mod Plexi w/ 2 old black plate 12x7
Tweed stock w/ 2 GE 5751

South Bay cabs traditional 2x12 loaded w/
Scumnico 100w
Scumback H55 65w

Nothing but tasty tones whether speaker to ear or up against my fav CDs.

If you haven't tried the Mr. Scary on low gain settings, you owe it to yourself!

Later, and thanks!

Dave

The advantages are that you can combine a "British" El34 flavor with an "American Metal" 6L6GC or whatever you like...I have found the combinations to be a great asset to tone as you get a nice round mixture- if that's what you desire...
