Hey everyone, I'm a proud owner of a new Randall RG100G3 and I'm looking for some settings suggestions. Cheers :)

I think thats going to be trial and error.
Is yours really "boomy" at the bottom end?
I have to cut the bass a lot to get rid of it.
Also - do you have a nasty AC hum even when the level is right off?

It's pretty boomy, yeah. I end up putting the bass down to about 2 with the mids and highs roughly around 5 and 7.

There is some AC hum but I don't think it's a huge issue.

Gain 1 - 10
Treble - 7.5
Mid - 2.5
Bass - 8
Contour - 6.5

I love this setting, gives me a real warm sounding overdrive, Im also running an alesis Midiverb 4, so I have the reverb on the amp turned all the way down, you you might want to put it at like 2 or 3.

Im also running a Rocktron Hush Super C noise gate, so if noice doesn't bother you keep the gain at 10 but if it does might want to turn it down to about 7.5 or 8.

Good luck bro :D

i use

gain 9
treble 7
mid 6
bass 7
contour 4
and a touch of reverb, this is what i call a ******* setting as it makes my guitar cut right through gigs and recordings so it sounds nice and in your face, people dont realise how heavy a dash of mids can be
