ack! You beat me to it.. how am I going to do anything that compares to this video run through? I think i'll settle with a comparison clip between 2 or 3 modules.... mine won't be as glamorous though. Good job, definitely faithful to the sound that i also hear coming through my module.

Nice video...production getting better and better Fig'ster! \m/

Wow, I am extremely impressed with this video and the tone of the module. Hmm...

Great job, Matt!

Ok I'm done with my happy dance...
Agreed. This seemed more "professional" but still had a hint of Fig humor. The tone I think is spot on to mine. Now I just need to get some Silver Marshal knobs to go with the new faceplate Nick did for mine.

Great vid Matt. Rob once again, Awesome mod.

Nice video, Matt. Great sounding module, Rob. You hit another one out of the park.

watching this, and then seeing Derek Trucks Band playing on Crossroads 2010 dvd with a SLO100 behind him....

I haven't received my latest mod from Rob yet, and I'm envisioning another already.

:D

Merry Christmas! Thanks for the nice words on the vid guys...This is one module that records very nicely and is really easy to dial in!

Reading the kind comments brings a big smile to my face as well as Eduardo's...

It can do Ratt on the crunch channel with the fluid switch on and gain boosted.... you might want a bit morepush for the leads but the rythms are there.

It does RATT awesome IMHO...SLO is DeMartini's tone to me even though he played other amps as well...If you need more beef with the leads, it takes a boost quite nicely although it's not necessary to my ear...Everyone is different though...

Kapo, I'm looking forward to your comparison video too!!! Which mods will SL-OD be up against? :D

Matt, I am not equipped for video unfortunately , I was thinking more sound clips :( . But that said, I am thinking maybe of doing the SLO vs. Judge with "juror" mod vs. my Mr. Browstone (modded Brahma). Then we'll see what does Demartini tones the best! and some VH too...

I may have to try this tomorrow. I've never really given the crunch channel a decent run through. The OD side is sweetness so I haven't strayed from it.

That would be awesome...Audio clips would be great, I'll just put some nice porn on while I listen... :)

In all seriousness the 3 mods would be interesting to hear side by side...

You may be surprised by what you hear and what you like best! I've got the mic placed where I like it now so all I have to do is think of a way to demo these. Not happy with the plugins that come with reaper for Verb and Delay though so I am thinking of just using my G major 2 so you guys will hear some coloration but that is all part of the 80's charm!

So I'm thinking a crunch - mid gain - higher gain A few well known riffs in each setting. I'll fiddle tonight if i get back in time. I'd like to have something in the next few days. Won't be as good as what you have and more MikeP style (minus the excellent quality) but it will give you an idea... right now, my "Mr. Browstone" is winning. One additional component value swap I made to the Judge makes it feel and sound a bit like if it were run full pin or using a variac. Odd sponginess to it but I like it for now. I'll play unchained so you can hear it. ..and of course, some RATT ! I'm a Warren fanboi, always preferred him to Lynch..

Indeed! I think i might do a dedicated soundclip of just the SLO and I'll dial back the treb. Maybe i'll do that tonight!

I just received my first Jaded Faith module, the SLO-OD100. All I can say is that I am COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY!

I setup the module with the Bass a 12 O'clock, Mid at 10 O'clock, Treble at 1 O'clock, Master at 10 clock with the gain a 2 O'clock. BAM! There's my Soldano tone!

I then began playing with the Gain knob and the module in Crunch mode with the Focus and Fluid set to the ON position. I got a nice, creamy warm Marshall tone, not unlike Warren Haynes or Butch Trucks. Once I tried the Overdrive mode, it jumped into full-on modified Marshall tone, big and thick but with definition and clarity.

Again, I am BLOWN AWAY!!!

I'll get some clips up next week, as I am working on completely different music this week and have a short deadline but I am really psyched to track with this module. It's nothing short of amazing!

Thanks, Rob! And thanks for the great customer service!

I'll be very interested in the sound of your clips mike.. What are you using tube wise in your amp by the way? v1-v3 and then in the modules? I also should pick up some 6L6's to try with my JF SLO. I keep meaning to.
