I know someone might say VH but I seriously doubt that was a stock

Though not typically Plexi (by that meaning JMP) per se, but perhaps of that very reason: Eric Johnson and particularly recordings where those EL34s really give off that fluffy, magic shimmer of various degrees and sort.

Check out "Slide it In" by Whitesnake. PERFECT Plexi tone, right there.
Yeah, its been double tracked...but thast just more of a good thing..and besides its JohnSykes so its totally tight.
