Stereo power amp into xl cab?

I'm new to the stereo thing. I have a stereo preamp going into a
stereo poweramp. The poweramp is solid state, 2 channels. At 4ohms,
it's puts out 55 watts per channel.
I have a stereo 4x12 cab. I can do 4, 8, or 16 ohms. 240w rms.
Can I safely and sanely plug each channel into the amp and have a
stereo setup coming out of one cab?

Sure can :wink: Solid state amps are not as picky about ohms as a tube amp. Some SS amps can even handle 2 ohm loads.
