What would an internal trim pot at R28 achieve?
I have one in my module and
havent set down with it enough to go back and forth
to find out. Thought this would be the place to ask.

Part labeling changed from time to time. Is that in a grouping of 3 resistors just the the left of V2 when looking at the module from the front?
 
If nothing else is changed, they should be mixer resistors. A pot there would have an impact on the color of the gain (darker/brighter) and the gain to a small degree, depending on other things in the circuit around it.
