Iommi - Laney Supergroup or Klipp

I did look into those a couple years ago. As far I know (and could find out) the Valve Klipper is no longer made, in fact very few were ever made. A friend of mine has one and it sounds pretty good. That said, with "amp pedals" the end result is always dependent on the amp you go through...

Iommi - Laney Supergroup or Klipp

The details of the old Sabbath tone is so liked to the Supergroup/Klipp, I have a hard time getting it right with a Marshall box. The Catalinbread guys got real close with their Sabbra Cadabra but it still lakes the "tube" response and feel (they used JFet in place of tubes) ... a MTS module...

Iommi - Laney Supergroup or Klipp

I was wondering if anybody had ever made a Laney sounding module? I would love to have a module that does Vol.4 and/or Sabotage type sounds! 8)

Scott Ian still uses his Randall :)

About the end of the MTS, you have to remember that when Randall licensed the modular concept from Bruce Egnater, Egnater was a tiny brand, doing mostly ghost design work (Rocktron, etc.). Today Egnater is a big brand, and a competitor to whom they have to pay a percentage. It has been ten...

I am selling my RM4. I got it from a member of this board a couple month ago. It is in great shape and works well ... I just decided to go another route for now. No module included.

    noise gate

It doesn't have to be heads. Look at it this way: You have to loops w/ gates that are controled by a same guitar signal. For example: You could have in loop #1 your entire pedalboard and in Loop#2 the pre-amp section of your Head amplifier. Now everytime you stop playing your signal is gated...

    noise gate

The magic of the ISP Noise Gates is that they don't use the Noise Gate input to monitor incoming signal. In a traditional noise gate you place the gate in series with the sound source. When the source gets weak [threshold], the gate shuts. The ISP Decimator is like that ... but the G-String...
