I’m using a syn-1 with the four-cable connection into a Bugera 1960. I’ve noticed that with the syn-1 on the low send setting, things are more controllable, but not as loud or full as the Bugera’s preamp, even with the volume on the syn-1 cranked. However, I find that switching to the high setting gets the syn-1 closer to the Bugera, but it seems to make things too distorted. I’m trying to push the power amp of the Bugera for a more natural sound.
Anyone else do this? What do you guys prefer?
