Stereo RM4 Rig w/ JF Mods, Mesa 20/20

UPDATE: I've decided to part out the rig and will update with sales of the pieces. Selling the best sounding most versatile rig I've ever owned. All service done by Rob at JF, and I can have him check out any item and/or test tubes before shipping if you like. RM4...

    FS: RM50 Head - Sold

Yo Ray! Cool vid; I'll forward to Bob although we parted ways back in Dec; he took a break from music; long and curious story better served up over beers but i'll PM ya. I've been off the forum for awhile but hear the new MTS modules are pretty sweet; Judge has me curious

    FS: RM50 Head - Sold

Mint condition; not a scratch; new BHT's (less than 10hrs); stock channel footswitch plus boost footswitch with volume pot is like having a 3rd channel for lead. I run an RM4 rig and just don't play the RM50 anymore. RM50's are loud with awesome mojo. $425 plus shipping. will consider trade...

    WTB: RM50 or 100 head/combo

Man, I'd hold out for an RM50 head. Best mojo of the RM series IMO. I bought one for rehearsal so wouldn't have to drag the rack around and it cranks! The boost is kinda funky; you need to add a volume pot to a regular footswitch to make it functional, but plenty loud enough to gig with and...

Studio session w/RM4, mesa 20/20, JTM, JF Plexi, JF VHT

Thanks for all the comments! I was most interested in posting the tones cause lots of folks (me included) are curious about how different modules sound, particularly Rob's work. Getting feedback on the song is an added bonus ;) If you're curious as to how Rob's plexi sounds for a lead, check...

    My new-to-me JadedFaith VHT

+1 on Rob's mods!! If you want to hear the VHT, I just posted a song under rigs & tones using the VHT for lead, and Rob's modded Plexi for crunch rhythm. The plexi and VHT work so well together, like crunch and lead channels from the same amp.

Studio session w/RM4, mesa 20/20, JTM, JF Plexi, JF VHT

I've been off the forum for awhile, but thought some of you might like to hear what the rig sounds like from a recording session with my band. I've owned just about every stock module and bunch of modded ones, and ended up with JTM for clean, JF modded plexi for crunch rhythm and JF VHT (modded...

    power amp with RM4....

If you're still looking for a 1U 20/20, I've been running a mesa 20/20 for couple months now and absolutely love it; it does color the tones toward classic recto a bit, but I like that low-end sag feel from rectos anyway. I sold my RT2/50 purely to lighten the load but in the end I don't feel...

    RM50 vs RM20/22

I found this thread cause I'm curious about the RM22 and wanted to see if anyone has actually played one live. Not so sure I agree with the discussion about EL84's being light on thump tho. I sold my RT2/50 solely because of the oppressive weight and bought a Mesa 20/20 which has EL84's; did...

rm50 master vol input on rear

I took an old footswitch and added a vol pot so you can set the level of your lead boost. works great. i can send you the schematic if you want; it's really simple.

    Sold

this is one of the best stock modules in the bunch. do you wish you had an old 72 plexi? then buy this module! bruce did a fantastic job nailing the mid-tone character of the old plexis. want a hot rodded VH tone? send it to JF for his high-gain treatment; that's my go-to crunch rhythm slot
