Can't comment on the G, but for the RM100 footswitch, play with the midi lead a bit. I had two of them fail on me. Eventually, I just hacked off the midi connection and replaced it with a CAT5 cable. No problems since.

2nd what Nigel said. The parallel loop is for time-based effects, like reverb and delay. Any effect that would be 'blended' gets put their. Wah, volume, boost, etc, all go in series, as you want your whole tone to be affected.

I've had channel switchers die on me in the past year. Is this a common problem? I don't want to shell out for another Randall one if they're going to just keep on dying on me. They power up, but they don't switch. Really annoying...

Alright... I checked the four power tube fuses on the back of the amp, the seven fuses inside the amp, and the one fuse right next to the power supply, with a multimeter. They all look fine visually, and they all gave me a reading on the multimeter. What now? All my tubes look fine. :(
